About Danny Devaney aka The Ping Pong Ball Guy

Danny began performing live shows at the age of 12. His career started by performing as a clown at birthday parties. Right after graduating High School, Danny attended Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. He toured the United States for 2 years with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

After leaving Ringling, Danny performed for smaller circuses, had an educational school program, and did private events in the New York/New Jersey area. (His home town is Rahway, New Jersey) Eventually Danny took a job performing at Circus Circus Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. Danny left Circus Circus to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He performed the pre-show entertainment in the 9,000 seat Fantasmic Theater, before having his own show and stage in Epcot Center.  While in Orlando, Danny helped develop the Outta Control Dinner Show where he performed for 5 years. 

When he was presented with the opportunity to perform in the Smoky Mountains, Danny packed up his family and hasn't looked back. Before joining the Comedy Barn, Danny starred in the Hoot N Holler Dinner Show and The Lumberjack Feud. Now in his 8th year at The Comedy Barn, he performs his ping ping ball act 6 nights a week. Utilizing the skills he picked up performing for the biggest names in live entertainment for over 30 years he also is the Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for The Comedy Barn Theater.
